I hope everyone is enjoying what is good of the Wintertime, as this group thank-you and alert about the Incursion II goes out. This blog will for a time become an either/or Tuesday Thursday blog. Especially and firstly, appreciation to all those of you readers who sent the Military sewing machines and monies dedicated towards them; those of the more than two million sewing machines sent to us that were loaners will be taken care of. Many of the soldiers have since completed their uniforms. Your support and fast action is to be lauded.
One of the officers in a unit I'm with told me of the adventure in finding uniform pieces in the various locations and how gratifying it was to find something from a birth heritage military, the particular one being items from Russian uniforms. The warnings relating to urban preparedness are about pets being attacked in pseudo-surgical procedures along with illegal tortures to them for embezzlement; keep an eye on your household pets and livestock to double check they aren't being altered in systematic or stylized attacks. Children are also being attacked by Incursion II invaders of homes and regional areas with fecal products that may or may not be evidenced by their presence at the crime scene. The Clergy have special time allotted to help the families with these untenable situations in counseling or activities.
The clergy are again taking in reports and have extra directions on how to handle the situations I've described. Take extra care in precautions as houses are also being illegally targeted today by those found to be participating in the Incursion II attacks with nearly legal or legal- seeming tactics but ones that are not. The detected organizational leaders of the Incursion II are claiming to be re-enactor groups that were already told directly by the Military and Law Enforcement not to enact in public places because they are aping the officers and confusing the public and then commit the crimes listed as being of the Incursion II. Around eleven million homeless-behaving invaders were reported tobe on the move and raiding along nearly the same roadways as Incursion I, many of the same homes and families targeted illegally. Higher percentages in each city, as a result.
The upside of the Incursion II is that many more missing persons were found and resituated with their loved ones and family members again. In particular, those from the banking industries and fashion. Again, tens of thousands were retrieved from their peril. The Military and the Law Enforcement are to be thanked for their quick responsiveness and also the clergy and volunteers who helped. Money and prestige appear to once again be the main motives of the Incursion II criminals behaving militantly.
Do keep up the precautions as one of the differences between incursions is that the second one also attempts to destroy what is left besides taking something from the victims. For example, if business clothing are taken along with a personal identification from a home targeted, similar items left behind may be destroyed or sabotaged. More on the monetary affects will come as The Fed and its equivalents from all countries will follow as they join in with the USSS to assess the grand embezzlement and steps towards it in the progressive targeting.
Many of the Incursion II attacks are reported in as paranormal in nature or intent. That being the case, some job openings are available to those interested in working as civilians to the military scope and for various government functionaries in capacities resembling or perfecting the old-style paranormal remote-viewing. Sometimes called RVers. Not accurate enough in full form for actual military protocol, it was removed from the Military a few decades ago, but has some skills that are unique that can be useful now, such as those involving remote signatures. If you've had this training or worked in such capacity, you may contact the Military or Clergy. Thank you for applying.
The Fashion One Project with the USAF is in full swing, and we're very glad for your participation and cooperation in public locations. The air bases are close enough, but it is more convenient for the soldiers and the public sector to interact at some of the public locations. The transfer of information needed for the business with and related to Fashion is going off smoothly with the General Public's careful concern and respect. Some job openings are likely to open soon, as some are also filling. I'm pleased to be a fashion director, and artistic director level positions are available for those in the military or interested in reactivating, and also project management level positions. Part-time positions are also available. Extra training courses are complementary often and available to those in the field which are beneficial to those who work in Fashion and who are investors including speculative.
Follow-on: The Name of the Rose is finally underway and on my reading table. I've heard from some already finished with it. As for my personal sewing and design projects, I'm working with dramatic blacks and browns. On the horizon is more of an artwear style or two or three, but that takes some more planning time.
Next week, I'll explain some of the art forays lately. Have a good week ahead and take your normal precautions.
Sartorially yours,

Post-Holiday and Incursion Updates
Greetings in the new year, and once again I hope you will be having a good and successful one. The Incursion II is still underway and the general warnings are of forewarning and hindsight today. The typical targeting of the Incursion II victims has been of wide-scale approaches to predictable motivations: jewelry of the military past and present (including rings distributed by USMC with Incursion I engraved), buttons and insignia, weapons and metal items from the home; and an unexpected turn against the good-samaritans of our societies such as a lady who feeds abandoned household pets loosed at a park who is allowing discussion that her home was burgled by 500 perpetrators apprehended yesterday attested to be Incursion II. The Military and Law Enforcement worked hand in hand to stop the militaristic raid as it did with several others in Stockton proper, alone. Other houses had several hundred apprehended, as well. Today a raid of scores of thousands attempted to enter the region roundabout illegally and were stopped by the military and forces in play; claims to tribal uniqueness were attempted for invoking protections thereto, but the many military person there holding in the area were able to verify the denial officially by this country and the militaries worldwide. I'll get into the day-counts of the Incursion II soon, as I catch up more. Imposters to the banking industry attempted to infiltrate from their Incursion II positioning; the banking industry officials were fast to respond and already have met and decided on proper procedure to prevent those raiding the country from stealing identities such as mine was at 2:00 a.m. in an improper attempt to apply online to a banking position.
Say hello to many of the reactivated military and law enforcement personnel around and about in your areas. Here, some of the 'fish' or detectives of the past have been able to join in and are welcomed. Watch out though for confusions and similar to call-signs and names used in ham radios or such circles; some military call signs were being used in the aftermath by hobbyists illegally including those of hobby groups such as Odessa. The real Odessa is not their hobby group and comprised a handful of operatives for a prior regime, and they don't behave in public in copy-cat manners to enjoy a simulation of observed real-time military experiences in the public. They, being the hobby groups, can't re-enact in the public to impersonate the military or federal officers of the time any longer, not that they could; not to be confused with re-enacting of the past wars and battles such as of a hundred years ago, or, say, of the actual WWII. Other venues include notification of the office of the vice president of this country of occult data; resident now to the White House levels and you may use regular channels including writing.
Paranormal and occult styled attacks are still being reported in in record numbers by those victimized by the Incursion II. Go ahead and report them as such, and to your clergy, local or otherwise; some organizations on the Internet are credible in gathering similar information. The other day I met with priests who were removing a poltergeist, which came up as result of the viewing of reports of paranormal attacks. If you have bottles flying off the shelves at you or other similar dangers in anomalies do report them as there are bona fide teams to do the investigations. USSF is conducting ghosthunting data in form, and recruiting some civilians as well. Noticing anomalies can also lead to other real-time deterrents and apprehensions.
The USMC-Arts is assisting and to be lauded for helping the USAF Fashion One Project which again is making public notice of some interesting things in Fashion. But, for a moment, the need is for helping the militaries and the reactivated soldiery in your areas and mine to prepare their urban defense uniforms from home. The good news is many uniforms were donated kindly by the civilians and citizens of Stockton, CA and such areas to the soldiers and are available at the Air Force bases and so feel free to call the Fashion One office number at Air Force One. For awhile, though, there are many who need to make their own uniforms and so the call out is for donated or loaned sewing machines to assist. Approximately 150,000 sewing machines or more would be useful to USSF just now as all are on mandatory time to design and produce their uniforms for future urban service. Artillery is also in need of donated sewing machines and 4th Battalion out of Moffett Federal AFB is able to intake the donated equipment. Approved officially are many alternate styles of uniforms including those of any military of any past historical note or prior official use such as tribal or ethnic; also included are tye-dye, batiks, any Asian print, and any paraphernalia or insignia of past wars. Dress blues can include any denim with black undertones or worn white undertones evident for certain officers in play. If there is a military time of your adoration, this is the time to make use of the now fashionable style in your urban defense and even militia uniforms. The USMC still has the always-alternate-uniform list for public use available which includes any tailored detail on either top or bottom clothing item. Insignia and paraphernalia can be in any form; cloth, applique, replica, or as in past wars an allusion such as an X stitched in places where the item would display; any but my singularly and permanently awarded metallic-Maltese-cross which is not worn in uniform except by moi. If you have a metallic one, it is to be saved for non-uniform fashionable wear, only, if you are military or militia or uniformed in some manner such as academies; note that students are having the metallic ones removed as a matter of form and using only for fashion after school Maltese cross in earlier eras which he wore with a red jacket.
Follow-on: I am enjoying designing and sewing the uniforms to be worn in public places, and am going through older fashion books skimming for designs to revive into my own closet while I excavate fabrics in my storage boxes. I am pleased that some of my choices for unusual uniforms were approved by the Military recently such as lavender and navy for a US Navy uniform, along with others more staid, and I'm also working in tye-dye and plaids. I have a red jacket in the making that is also official use but differing from my grandfather's it bears the buttons official for the British and such is an example of how you might mix elements of past war uniforms in your present designs. This is also a good time identified to update your own wardrobe and decor by scaling down to simpler color schemes; examples would be to have a new color chart done and go from perhaps three or four colors in a group to two worn and in decoration. Try it. The name of the Rose by Umberto Eco will begin on my reading list today and I hope you'll enjoy.
I'll see you online soon, likely next Tuesday.

Holiday Activities and More Incursion II News
Greetings and thoughts of warm hearths and happiness for you at the holidays as I'll be offline for a few days over the timeframe, and extra awareness as the recruitment to deter the Incursion II are strongly underway. More openings for work assignments are discussed below, but for the moment, I'll address the Incursion II as part of your urban safety focus.
The Militaries and clerics are again taking the reports for Incursion II, and the duration of Incursion II looks to be lengthy due to the high amount of abductees and kidnap victims being held by the Incursion II perpetrators; the MIA personnel are also being sought among the victims, as this Incursion has built up around and followed many wars.
Specialized units are still recruiting persons with backgrounds or interests in their own heritage or ethnicity, including the ones from prior wars such as the SS now of the US Navy, officially.
I hope you will all be extra cautious and aware of your safety for the times ahead. There is a false system in play in the Incursion II masses that are behaving in military manners, albeit untrained, and erroneously by observers of the past equated to religious practices. Again, the false systems do not merit religious protections nor discussions of the matters. The Military is recruiting paranormal inclined personnel and training them as a result of the reported attacks by targeted victims of paranormal proportions. Ethical practices are mandatory, as are adjustments in the updated religions that utilize paranormal techniques for those interested; the pay is standard and military. Law enforcement also has slots for cross-platform positions opening and training.
Also being sought are those who can work with the militaries in real estate embezzlement investigative stances. Targetted victims are particularly of the sizable or remarkable restoration-level, prized neighborhoods, collectibles, manor or Old House ilk or origin or the ownership being of decent. Again the clergy or the Military can assist with assignments, and the US Navy is in the lead of the deterring and protecting against Incursion II.
The patterns of attacks by Incursion II is not yet announced. Take extra care to handle the suspicious information if you think you are being targeted or are unable to determine. Journals of logged anomalies and unusual data will be able to assist law enforcement in your behalf. A special thank you goes out to Law Enforcement officially from the Military for assisting in the deterring of the crime waves brought in by the Incursions and which has been attributed to a drop in crime statistics.
Another special alert goes out for while you're out shopping or visiting establishments to disregard the attempts by Incursion II or those inspired by it to assess anyone for mental health purposes in public. It is illegal to assess in such a manner, and law enforcement may make an assessment for a certain purpose, but otherwise there is no tolerance for the Incursion II attempts to misdiagnose and drug others in public for proclaimed but false medical needs. The dangers uncovered include medications slipped as mickeys not told to the person receiving them and no actual medical personnel active nor valid family members or friends making the request for assessment. My own executive order enacted states that I'm 'normal' at all times in mental health areas permanently as a type of typing done by the fields of psychiatry and that has sometimes been the level needed to arrest the perpetrators, but new measures are in play to stop the attempts to medicate incorrectly persons in public places again that should stop the foul play before it goes too far. Certainly, don't tolerate any such misbehavior.
Some interesting things are happening that overlap Fashion and Business. The bubbling business sectors are under the magnifying glass and this is an official announcement of more commercial and commercial print models being sought for advertisement level openings. The USMC is linked to all professional modeling agencies which may be contacted for the anticipated contractual work and project work assignments. The USAF Fashion One project is making the official announcement, and I'm pleased to do so on this blog. Also sought are fine art models for contractual assignments. Experienced models of the past are most welcome to apply.
Follow-along: I'm still reading the novel and working on the scarfs, and today is a decoupage emblem day. If you're interested in the newer neater emblems or symbols or heraldry in fashionable wear and are not of a mind to do it yourself, there are other ways to get the style on. The custom embroidery places such as at t-shirt shops or online heritage heraldry sites often can help. I'm also going through the houseplants and the dead things that show up at this time of year. I'm selecting pots to replant for Spring, and to decorate the pots.
From the field of Ufology there are many new angelic encounter reports coming in. I hope you won't be shy to utilize the prepaved pathways for reporting even family lore. The lore helped out USSF greatly in bedroom-community movements of the past and the present ghosthunting level focus of a worldwide bedroom-community focus of information and investigation. Enjoy digging up some from your own histories and sharing. The holiday season wouldn't be the same without thoughts to the angels.
The next time I'll be on the blog is after the New Year, and I hope yours starts out superb, and peacefully. Take good care.
Sartorially yours,
Kristin-Marie Wall

Holiday Greetings and Incursion II Alerts
The morning finds me on personal vacation and the rainy day is one that called for fruit cake with a special cup of tea, but I'm glad to be blogging on Incursion II updates for Holiday safety and urban preparedness alerts. I'm pleased inform that the USMC has offered a special ring that is engraved with Incursion I and has room for more engraving, for those who participated with the Militaries and the Churches worldwide in the last effort. There are several military officers who were approached and threatened directly with an Incursion III, already. Go ahead and take your everyday precautions and stay extra alert as the holidays you know come with alerts to take extra care of your resources and gift items.
Vacation time with the Militaries you might be curious to know allows for up to half-time of work and lots of postponed activities identified throughout the year before. This week finds me at home delightfully sewing some clothes and making presents. A gingerbread making kit and book are on my tabletop. I watched this morning The Grinch Who Stole Christmas which went well with the rainy morning. My notepad is close by for story ideas ...
For the follow-along: I have heard back from several of you who enjoyed the books listed and I'll get back to the reading and craft projects next week. Ahead, we've discussed before learning new language or culture. This is a fine time to select something for now or later from that culture to do.
Some of the news media were recently asking about forecasts for business in the fields related to Fashion. The USAF Fashion One Project presently in the Air Force One office is seeking part-timers who have a background in psychology and psychiatry and on openness to referential material provided by the CIA to make comparisons. The design teams are on deadlines provided by the military and they are looking to the year ahead for resultant incomes as a partial result of the interaction with the part-timers and consultants under discussion. The part-time openings are short and are very regular, usually daily so reliability is essential.
Other news is that it is fine to complain of the noted difference in the fashion business as was just done, in that only 110,000 job openings were created for the Holiday Season. The other side of that is that it is a new style of managing a business sector that is commended for opening those jobs for two-year increments instead of the typical short duration of only the holiday. There are some nice openings that I would've enjoyed to work, myself, and was glad to see to others getting them for a solid period of time.
Until next week ...

Seasons in Trend and Day 9 Alerts
It is a good and snowy, icy day that greeted me today in Stockton, California. One of those productive meeting days, already. At the designated military installations, the cafes, the general public is to be lauded on the proper respect being shown to the military personnel and law enforcement cooperatively planning for urban defense and preparedness on site. It is a 9th day of copycat styled home-invasion waves of militant-criminal activities, Incursion II. Again, the US Department of the Navy is in the lead for combating the illegal wave.
Early rising deters any number of home invasions. A conglomeration of styles. The law enforcement homes are being the least affected with the lowest amount of break-&-entries with military personnel following in second. Precautions at the everyday citizen and residence level should be about as high as you can manage. That means thinking through your normal procedures ranging from doors, mail pick-up, gate locking, and as some general public has asked the military at the installations about, things such as an emergency set of clothing, and other supplies. The main thing is to take extra precaution and report to law enforcement even snippets overheard if sounding to be of unusual locomotion or activities that may be crime related to the Incursion II. In response, reactivation of veterans is possible in almost any situation; the local Veterans Hospital is one place where this can be done on-site as was accomplished this past week for many. Challenges to possible reactivation are being accommodated at the time.
This blog began as a trend analyzer or constituent; coming along nicely is a new and burgeoning interest by the many of varieties in forms of music. Taking lessons or learning in studies about an instrument, for example, can be done by asking to be typed for a compatible instrument. A local music store can likely help out. I've been typed for oboe. I spent years on the piano, a star instrument, but at this point it is a worn if true friend. I'll spend more time on learning about another, and I hope you will, also.
The USAF is quite pleased with the responsiveness of the world of Fashion, and the Air Force One office is introducing new Artistic Directors to handle the work load. Taking in calls and general contacts today are Dr. A, Dr. Bruno, Dr. John, and Dr. G. Whether a titan or a cottage industry, there is a place and a schedule for success for all. I hope you'll contact one of the artistic directors soon.
For the follow-along. I'm about half-way through The Death at Dartmoor and its charming view of the moors. I've checked out from the library for next time The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco, and I'll also list a shorter novel next time for those with a constrained time schedule. The yellow scarf is coming along nicely as planned and is about to get its colorful edge. While I'm reading today I'm listening to The Three Tenors Christmas, threetenorchristmas.com. I've admitted to enjoying holiday music on the blog before.
My illustrations for the children's manuscript are multiplying, as are the pages on the other book manuscripts. My portfolios are being revamped, including the modeling one. Thanks to the USMC I'm recontracted for a revised long-term career back in Fashion and Beauty only, not in commercial-print any longer. If you are a client uncontacted from commercial-print, the USMC will be glad to guide you in a new selection by contacting Dr. Deborah.
Say hello, in general, to the gifts of the season and the spirit of gratitude upon us all for what is your own and collective abundance. Create your own prayer or mantra, as prayer groups and circles are increasing worldwide in number. The world-view situation is being accurately accounted for by decision makers and information disseminating rapidly and correctly about situations on home fronts and for country citizens. There are even monarchical heads that have met or contacted me to inform that their own populaces in stable countries are suffering from hunger on an unusual level. We'll talk about the Economy again soon on the blog. Keep apprised of good matters of economy and think of how to optimize perishable resources during a season high in entertaining expectations. The USMC has good resources on home gardens as mentioned before.
This holiday season, consider sharing in a group-think idea of utilizing a country-costume for holiday wear, or devise something with that in mind for yourself or a beloved. The ideas coming out of the ancestry closets is delightful to witness as even an embellishment can be enough for the inherent delight. I hope you'll enjoy the season more than usual.
I'll look forward to being on the blog with you again in a week, and I wish you a blessed time.
Sartorially yours,
K.-Marie Wall

Mid-Holiday and Alerts and Hellos
I hope you all are having a warm and wonderful Holiday Season. Be aware once more of copycats to the home-invasion Incursion which also included wartime participants and support being attacked in other manners at home and in public. This time around, it is officially Incursion II, and don't be surprised or offended, though, if the soldiery reactivated is laughing at the ironies while they are pulled in to urban defense. Double check your tamper-proof seals and such again so that you can avoid copy-cats of the glue and other forms of attacks upon your homes and persons, once again.
An especially trying time may be happening for the families who are searching for their old records to get up to date on urban training. Do, though, help by keeping extra-confidential the numbers and photos and other records involved. The identity-theft hacking is really quite the trouble for the soldiers and their families at the moment, so I hope you'll help with this matter. Do be careful about not confusing identities, and stay calm through the challenges this holiday. For example, you don't want to confuse me with, say, the artwork client whose business card I posted on the blog, Katherine, just because you read the name on the same day, or such. She is non-military entirely and is typical of the types of errors of confusing identities between people who may seem similar in age, appearance, birthdate, name, or acquainted with same people. I am of course military and involved in the Arts and Fashion and similar, plus the urban-preparedness discussed on the blog. I hope you'll be aware of this common error to not make as it is not tolerated by the Military, at all ...
I mention this also because of the identity-theft scams being caught in the act, again, thanks to the diligence of the many. The difficulties can be minimized, if not avoided. Do check in correctly at any of the military installations which are now abundant if you are from a military family and on-the-road or have a difficulty to be immediately handled; you'll recall that the military installations are now at all the cafes (if you find one that isn't, let us know), and the bar-restaurants and bars. They are officially thanked for willing cooperation, which is symbiotic to help their businesses.
The impostors in identity-theft scams have gone so far as to impersonate those with executive-orders again to supposedly call-up military units for traps. The militaries in Germany and Israel have been most sadly affected, and the cooperation of the general public is requested at this time as we and you and others sort it out. The travelling mis-contacted and often overly trusting personnel are being resituated, and can check-in at the military installations for their redirecting, housing, and other logistics. Remember that the way to verify an executive order is through official channels, the real phone numbers and of course the police departments or sheriff's offices will have them up on their computers, or similar; and, yes, there is proper verification method for days when the computers are down. It is as simple as checking a personal identification card or driver's license, but comes with real-time action, so that the mis-directed soldiers do not have to worry about being waylaid again in part or in whole. As I discussed on media before, this is a very serious matter and not for bedroom seduction paradigms or agendas for those who don't hold actual executive orders.
Be watchful of your holiday mail, as even the soldiers are having a harder time than before receiving their mail on time and in recurring fashion. This runs true, of course, for even most normal years.
The international bout of normalizing depression identified by the USMC has good ways of being dealt with and the awareness that the Holiday Season comes along with a particular brand of it is something to remind of, as needed. The ability to do the appropriate action to take care of your own mental health levels is something to self-assess, although usually awareness is enough. The recommendation by the Military is to do something from your childhood that you would enjoy as an adult, creative or otherwise, not childishly, but remembering that you practiced being an adult or interacting with adults. The head of the USMC is trying something from ten-years old; I'm trying one from my 4 year-old artistic times when I learned about shadow-colors. The ability to pull together from your own personal experiences is a good tool, and it is not about having or not having a supportive childhood experience, but rather using your own innate personal experience in the present.
Black Friday was actually a surprisingly enjoyable experience for me, and it was because I went with an agenda, not to over-spend, but to do something on my task-list. And, to people-watch, a regular and elite past-time in Paris, still, according to the sociologist reports coming in for consolidation. Don't be afraid to discuss inanities, or frivolities, as this is the sugar plum fairy season, after all.
The Follow-Along has gone well in that it has received a good review from strangers and friends, alike, and if you are interested in sharing in the participation, this is what I'm doing. For those who enjoyed An English Murder, the Death at Dartmoor by Robin Paige is what is going to be next that I'll start this afternoon. Another alternative to those of you who objected already to a Victorian setting is Death du Jour by Kathy Reichs which is one I ran out of time to complete reading before and hope to finish this holiday.
For the knitters, or color-interested, the sunny yellow scarf is about half-way completed. To those with the great ideas suggested as to how to do something sugar plum fairy in orientation for the holidays. Truly noteworthy creativity from you, and thanks.
I will try to blog again in a week, to the day, and so I hope to see you on December 8th.
Sartorially yours,
K.-Marie

The Sartorial Matters blog schedule will be changing over the holidays, and I'll look forward to being online again with you on December 1st. If all holds up well.
A tremendous applause is coming again this time from the Sartorial Matters blog for Law Enforcement and the Militaries for the recent Recursion handling, unexpected that it was.
What it was, the rumored Recursion following the Incursion you read about or helped with: a grouping of several of the victims of the Incursion and similar. Informants revealed that the Recursion was of arriving groups of abducted and kidnap victims who were organized into medieval or ancient styled military unit structures. It was interesting to note the movements with the Military and be unaware of who the people were, and it turned out well as they reported in under the actual groupings of recorded heraldic military units of the centuries past.
Organized in an historic proportion, the escaping victims were received and are now working with the Military, in actual sense, able and remilitarized under their historic units. This continued and successful style of assembly and reportability is helpful. The heritage and histories of the families involved were carried on in their dire circumstances during their time away from the world known and loved. Nobility and Royal Households members of the past were the entire components of their self-named Recursion. Typical groups were brought in under heraldic banners and flags and similar in numbers also expected, for example, eleven-hundred at a time. It is commendable that they utilized the clever methods to extract themselves from danger. They had mostly been victims of extreme identity theft along with the other crimes against them, and I hope you'll all welcome them back as the State of California and other governmental bodies assist them and restore them while they begin working anew with our militaries.
Why the Recursion worked is because the records of the past that were of the militarized and demilitarized heraldic groups still exist. It has been explained before on this blog and in other sources that the records are all in tact for such. Identification with these histories served in more than one sense. The continuing traditions and customs of even the demilitarized heraldic households are key to what saved the masses driven homeless and suffering much until they devised their Recursion. International Heads of State, of various Households and governments and their functioning bodies arrived in time to greet the arriving Recursion once they had been identified as exactingly of the heraldic units laid claim to.
Traditions have proven to more than of nostalgic importance just of late. I hope you'll remember them at the Holidays. Family members and even those of friendships that are generational should know them, or even help search them out. I was approached recently about how to start a new tradition within a household. That was a good question, as not all traditions need be new. They can be a custom that is selected or even borrowed, as long as it is sustainable, and renewable. Try to focus on one of your own more than the many over the Holiday Season ahead. Or, find one to custom fit.
The loneliest day of the year is Thanksgiving in America. For a variety of reasons, and you've heard that suicide rates skyrocket around the day. The USMC is noting once again the country wide sentiments in the form of a mild depression, related to the hard economy. Hard is the official term. What is allowable for normal mental health to be responsible for is to use the mildness in proper outlet form, such as indulging in a sad song, a moody poem, a dark piece of artwork. There are many ways to adjust to the normal mild depression that is around and about and when it hits you.
Being alone at the holidays isn't necessarily the problem it might seem, although it can cause ultra sadness to many. I've done holidays alone, and they take simple planning. If you wish to share your holiday with others or even introduced strangers, it can be a good experience. In the years when I participated at this level, my home was open to virtually any person within a certain category -- those alone from a certain part of the country and working in the Arts, for one, allowed a house to be full of warmth and merriment among strangers. Knowing of the need for safety precautions, the qualifying of guests is still in order. You might also be open to inviting as strangers soldiers who are stationed nearby. The local bases can help you find one or more guests for a traditional or even untraditional dinner, which I've done before in my family, as an idea. As a child, it was especially fun to anticipate hearing stories of their duties in the military.
If you're following along, this week I'm still on An English Murder, and I'm knitting a sunny yellow scarf now. When I'm back online after Thanksgiving, I hope to start reading a Victorian mystery that has been collecting dust on my bookshelf for awhile. Any Victorian era book might do, though, as I'm looking into a variety of things that are good topics this time of year from writings on the times that tend to reflect in many similar books or movies. Perhaps, even a movie, then ...
Have a blessed holiday and until next time.

K.-Marie Wall
